placenta previa
19Weeks and was diagnosed with placenta previa.. Has anyone experienced this? What was the outcome? Ftm scared of this.
I have it as well I'm 21 weeks. Don't worry just be carful not to lift over like 10 pounds and to stay in pelvic rest. 95 percent chance it will migrate upward by time of delivery since your a ftm. But if it doesn't you'll have a planned c section and get to pick your little ones bday:) so it's not to bad as long as the bleeding is under contraol
Your doctor will probably recommend no sex since there is a risk of bleeding with placenta praevia.
Be careful it you notice blood. Do not hesitate to go to the er even if its just a little blood.
You will be closely followed for that, to see if it stays praevia or if it moves out of the way with the time passing. If it does not move put of the way, you will have to have a c-section. No way around it.
