Mac and cheese?

What is something you add to Mac and cheese to jazz it up? I want mac and cheese but need to add something.

Sausage. I use some jalapeño paper jack cheese in mine sometimes too. But I made strange mac and cheese I can't eat it unless there are onions in it

Sometimes tomatoes, sometimes just extra salt and pepper. Sometimes I cook up chunks of spam so they get crunchy and add that. I even get my cravings for fried chicken and gravy and just mix it all together, I'm weird. My fiance turns it into a casserole, and I still can't figure out what he puts in it, I know green beans and extra cheddar... for me it depends on my mood.

As many veggies as possible. I was craving mac and cheese the other day, so I made a box, added 4 nitrate free hotgogs, and a bag of steamed veggies.  I did have to add a bit more cheese to cover the other stuff, but I got 4 big servings out of it. Much healthier than my original plan of just eating the whole box at once :)

Chopped chicken breast and broccoli with bacon. Or sliced polish sausages with bacon bits. Both are yummy. First one is more healthy.

Thank you. I have new things I'm going to try. Today I cut up a hot dog and cooked it. And then I added bacon.

You could try salmon if you're not comfortable with tuna. Or chicken and buffalo sauce.
