When and how?!

When did you find out you were pregnant and how did you tell your significant other and family?

I don't remember what prompted me to take the test... Just a feeling, I suppose. It was our anniversary night and I took the test just before going out to dinner.  When he came home from work, I told my husband I thought I was pregnant and to come look at the very very faint lines. I was 3-4w and several days before my missed period. He agreed that there was definitely something there!

I told my parents two weeks later by saying I had a picture on my phone that I wanted to show them.  It was a picture of a digital pregnancy test saying pregnant.  My mom gasped and had a huge smile, and my father cried.  It was great!

My hubby had asked me if i was ready to get pregnant and I told him so we planned it out, told him a couple weeks afterwards and his dad found out because he was making a drink that almost made me vomit because of the smell. I'm 25 weeks and all my family and friends have known since I was a about 9 weeks

I knew I was pregnant before I took the test. I wasn't having any symptoms I just knew. Mother's day I started having symptoms so I bought 2 tests that Monday and took one that night and texted my best friend and she was freaking out. Took one the next morning and had same result. Found out that Friday at the doctor I wad 100%. I was like 8 weeks then.

I was 2-3 weeks when I found out. 2 of my coworkers happened to be pregnant at the same time and they noticed I was extremely thirsty lately. I had also been feeling a little off the last few days, so they both told me to take a test as these were symptoms they experienced. That night I took 5 tests that all came back positive.

The next day, I surprised the hubby by having him close his eyes and put the positive pregnancy test in his left hand and prenatal pills in his right. He was so happy. :)

I was 3 weeks 3 days and actually found out on my birthday! I had ordered a snoopy growth chart for kids so when I found out I gave it to my wife and asked her to hang it up. Lol It was priceless!

I had been feeling weird. With tender breasts and fatigue, I was never concerned with a late period cause I had always been so irregular, but so that morning my fiance and I woke up and I decided to go test and it came out positive with 2-3 weeks since I ovulated making me around 5 weeks. So I showed my fiance the test and then showed my mom. My mom couldn't keep her mouth closed and in a matter of weeks everyone knew.

I just knew, so the day before my missed period late afternoon I took a test.  And went and told my husband.  My family I bought t shirts that said what their roll was like my mom's said world's greatest grandma my sisters said how many aunts do you know that look this good.  For his side I bake cinnamon buns for everyone to let them know there was a bun in the oven.  And before I announced it my grandmother text me to let me know she already knew I was pregnant cause she dreamt about it.  Hehe

I was 4 weeks when I found out. My husband was there with me when I took the test. My first doctors appt was at 9 weeks. Then we announced to family and friends at 12 weeks. For my mom I called her because she loves far away. For my husband's family we made a card with the ultrasound picture saying "if I'm getting fatter, so are you"  with a big bag of candy.
