I'm 23 weeks with my second child, first one is almost 4 so it's been a while. I noticed a few days ago that my areolae have all of a sudden gotten HUGE - they are usually just little circles but now they spread across like half the surface of each breast. My husband laughed and said they're just changing so they can be big obvious bullseye targets for baby to latch on... which makes plenty of sense, it's just somehow more unnerving than the other physical changes in pregnancy. Is it just me or does this make others feel insecure too? The belly is one thing, but... it just feels weird to see my breasts look so different.
