Not happy with my doctor

This is my second pregnancy. We moved to Texas last April and its never fun finding a new doctor but anyway since I started going to this office for my pregnancy i have not once met or even seen my doctor just the nurse practitioner. With my first i saw my doctor at every visit unfortunatly she didnt end up delivering my son but as soon as she heard i had him she came to see me. Im feeling really uncomfortable with this and i have the same insurance as i did before so what should i do? Im only 17 weeks and im really concidering finding another doctor. What would you do?

It's your choice as to your care and if you don't like something you can change it... My son is here now but towards the end of my second trimester I switched for my ob to a midwife cause the ob said somethings I didn't care for, she seemed like she didn't care about my problems with the pregnancy and just didn't seem like she cared at all... Have you looked into having a midwife??? I've had a midwife with 4 out 5 pregnancies... At least you know that you will be seeing the same person...

If you don't like your doctor you should absolutely get a different one.

I went to military hospitals for my pregnancies. I never seen the same person twice. I don't think it's a big deal that you haven't met your Dr unless you're high risk.

Absolutely find another doctor. You can ask for a consultation before you determine the doctor.

I would find another Dr. Read some reviews about the drs that interest you, that could help you see if they will do the same as your current Dr or will be better about it
