Should a man really overreact just because you said he is shy? I mean seriously I know men have ego but just going silent because of such a thing. Huh?
Haha I said it in a good way but his ego is 100% I think that's why.he has a PhD in maths so you can imagine.
Hi. No. But I guess it depends how and why you said it. This crazy world we are in often acts like shy people and introverted people are not as awesome as outgoing extroverts. And years of being more subdued and quiet/shy and feeling awkward because of it may just make him sensitive to the subject. ??? I don't know.
But I guess what I'd do is to say "I'm really sorry if that insulted you or hurt your feelings. I didn't mean it in a bad way (unless you did, and then it was an insult like any other if you used like it was an insult). Tell me why it would hurt your feelings to have me think of you as shy? What's going on with that?
It's a good opportunity to get to know your partner better and what goes on inside of him. good luck
