opinions on our name choices

OK so we are hoping to find out the gender of out baby at the end of this coming week.  We have picked names and I just wanted opinions.  I don't want to pick a name that sounds good to us but have it sound silly to everyone else or for it to have some silly thing I didn't notice.


If we have a girl her first name will be Eloise.

I like Eloise Ann Nolan.
Hubby likes Eloise Lynn Nolan.

Ann is a family name on my side and Lynn on his side so it comes down to what sounds better.


For boys I like Roman James Nolan or Milo James Nolan.

James is also a family name for me. Hubby has no boy name ideas.

Opinions on those?

All females in family for 5 generations have Ann as a middle name. But all the females in his family for 4 generations have lynn

I had never thought of putting them together but annalynn is pretty I like that idea. I'll have to run it by my hubby. He said he's starting to think milo is out choice!

I honestly like Eloise Lynn, but have you considered Eloise Annalynn? It's a combination of the two! ;) Luckily most documents will only have the first and last name, so the middle name isn't too big of a deal.

I think a simple James is nice for a boy.
