Just throwing in another plug for Dave Ramsey ;) I highly recommend his book The Total Money Makeover. It's got excellent information to help you get your finances on track.
Go to DaveRamsey.com. You two are in a very serious situation. You need to ask family for help until you can get on your feet. Not a bank. For your children's sake, get it together for them and follow what Dave Ramsey says to do. I hope you listen to this. God bless you.
I do, but I only have until the end of the month or unfortunately we will be homeless because he got in a big fight with his parents.
Well, do you have enough money coming in that once you get over this brief hurdle of current lack of funds, that paying each month won't be a problem?
Thank you. But we needed the truck we had no idea that we would have to find a new place to live until after he bought it.
It only takes less than 24 hours for me to get a personal loan. It depends on bank.
Our posts crossed.
You need to get your own bank account, that his name is not on so you can maintain your own credit.
Do you have a parent, or a grandparent or other relative or dear friend who could help you sort through your financial issues? I don't think a reputable bank would give you a loan for rent and a security deposit if you don't have any credit established, and don't have any money.
You can find shady dealers, who will charge extreme interest, with extreme penalties and unexpected rules, (like you have to pay weekly on demand rather than monthly as you expect), and you can soon be way in over your head financially it takes half a life time to recover.
If your fiance spent all the incoming money on a truck, and you have nothing and nowhere to live, a standard bank will not give you money. Do you have your own income? If so, you might want to put that into an account that he can't touch, because buying a truck at this time when you don't have a place to live is extremely reckless.
If you do decide to risk this and get money from an online source or a "money box" you might post the business on here and people who have experience with money can help you sort through it.
Best idea - stay where you are until you have enough saved for a security deposit and first and last month rent, and have a steady income to cover ongoing rent. Another excellent idea is for your fiance to take the truck back.
I work 30 hours a week. But my fiance is awful with our bank account he overdraws allthe time so I don't use it. Does it matter if i have an account or not?
If you have a steady job. Then you check with advance America. Or cash checking places. But you have to have a steady paying job. If you man has a job then he will have get the loan
I've never had a credit card in my life
If you have good credit and the bank pre approves you it should only take a couple of days to get a loan.
Depends on ur bank and credit history
