Please I need help!

I got a dark positive at home test on my 4 week mark another positive at home test on my 4 week  1 day mark. Two days later i went to the doctors  to get blood and urin test and i just got a call back he said he wants me to come back in two weeks and re test, because  is it a very faint positive. My period  is technically due today.  Does that mean i could be loosing baby if the doctor only has a very faint but i have 2 very dark at home positive two days before? So i am confused, maybe its faint for the doctors  because  my period  isnt late yet??

Ps. No miscarry signs

Thanks in advance for advice!

The home test only check for the presence of hCG and the doctors look at the specific level of the hormone. You are more likely to get a false negative than false positive on your home test. So it is likely you do have at least some level of hCG. Your levels are supposed to double every 2-3 days. So it does take time for a conclusive test. The fact that your doctor scheduled a follow up appointment shows you do have enough of the hormone to persue another test. So the best thing to do is try not to stress too much because all you can do is wait for the next visit. Good luck!

My doctor won't schedule anything or really confirm until your hcg is 100 or over. Yours could just be below that. And being so early you may not get any signs of miscarriage (if that's what's going on) and your doctor will most likely call it a chemical pregnancy if you do start bleeding between now and your next appointment. Good luck!

I think you should go back in the two weeks because it might just show that because you have not missed a period yet.

The doctors test is a blood tes, so his wasn't faint but just a number. The line on a test really doesn't always mean much  I got lighter lines a few weeks after having dark ones and Im now 18w.it may just be the test. Try and relax, it's not the initial numbER the doctor gets that matters, I t mattters how much it increases, best of luck
