Painful cramps every night

Hey. So I'm five weeks pregnant and I won't have a prenatal appointment for another 3 weeks. I don't want to freak out or make a big deal about things since I heard that having cramps is normal. My thing is I keep waking up at midnight or 1am every single night 27th painful cramps that won't go away unless I take a hot shower. This has happened every night for a week. Two days ago the pain was so bad that I was dizzy and sweating and nauseated. Is this normal? It only happens around that time and it wakes me up. Other than that during the day I feel fine and get to go to work without a problem.

You should go to the hospital instead of waiting for the doctors appointment. It should be normal but if you start bleeding then go no matter what. It should be fine though. I would go to the hospital though. Have a safe and blessed pregnancy <3

First off, take warm showers instead of hot because it isn't good for neural development. Cramping and sharp pains are all normal parts of.pregnancy. You'll have cramps throughout your whole pregnancy. They usually last a few minutes. Any longer accompanied by spotting then you should call your doctor to let them know.

I had the same thing mine would only happen at night too but I came to find out that it was the nights I was eating like pizza the only thing that helped me was sitting up rocking back and forth or putting a pillow by my stomach I also sleep with a heating pad now too but you should be ok so don't worry too much

Hey I'm 6 weeks and 5 days and I have had similar issues and I have been to the dr because I am a high risk pregnancy because of my medical history and everything is fine. Each pregnancy is so different. I'm not sure where you live but if you go to the hospital and your pregnant they will take you to labor and delivery and make sure everything is a okay!  :) best of luck!
