My boyfriend is a marine and we're currently surviving his first deployment. It's hard being away but if you're marries you'll get to be with him until he gets deployed. Mine is deployed for 7months which is hard but the day your reunited the wait is always worth it! No worries, just have faith and everything will be alright:) Good luck girl:)

My husband is in the military, we are lucky and he has only been on 2 deployments since he joined 6 years ago. Both were 6 months long. I personally don't mind him being in the military and it freaks me out when he talks about separating when his contract is up. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm prior service, and married to another prior service veteran. He needs to go look into getting help with your local American Legion. Just speak to the service officer, commander, or adjutant,  of the American Legion.

I'm the wife of a cop. You freak out and then you get used to it.
