late night hunger pains

How do I curb these or should I just give into the hunger for the baby? I've never had these problems pre-pregnancy, this is my first. I just don't want to get big, everywhere. But, if my baby is hungry, I don't want to starve her.

Eat. When you're hungry, she is too. You can always try to keep a healthy snack nearby. So if it's too late at night at least you put something in your stomach. I find a small bowl of cereal always helps.

If you're hungry definately eat, just make sure it's something healthy. When pregnant you can be mindful of your weight gain but shouldn't obsess over it. Light exercise is recommended so feel free. My extrmeties swell a bit when I'm pregnant and my hips widen, and that's normal but I realize that other than the baby it's mainly water weight. After the baby I lose the weight pretty fast. You shouldn't let more than 4 hours pass without eating something though. You'll be back to your old self soon so don't be discouraged.
