Pain during and after sex

So after I had my daughter four years ago I started to get irritation down there during and after sex. Till this day it still hurt I have been to the doctors for it and all they tell me its normal to feel like that after having a baby. Ugh no lol this isnt normal. The irritation is in the inside of my vagina, the doctor told me to use lubrication to see if that helps but it doesnt it just irritates me. Its weird too because i can be sooo into the moment of having sex with my husband but then out of no where i just get super dry and it hurts. This has affected my sex life with my husband so much that we do not even have sex often because he doesnt want to hurt me. Anyone experience this after having a baby? PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

You may also have scar tissue inside that could be causing some sensitivity. You can ask a doctor to laser the scar tissue away. Maybe that would help

Did you have stitches after your first baby? The doctor stitched me up too far after an epesiotomy with my first son, 4 years of painful sex until the birth of my second son. My ob said she could tell during labor I was sewn too far so she massaged the area and let me tear naturally as I pushed. Then she gave me one stitch to hold it together (sorry so graphic) and I've had no problems since. Sex is enjoyable and not painful. I'm now pregnant with my third.
