bleeding at 8 weeks...

Hi there, so i started bleeding as though my period had arrived this afternoon.  I am still bleeding.  No pain, just a slight discomfort. I am booked in for a scan tomorrow morning.  I just wanted to find out if it's possible to bleed like this and not be miscarrying?  Has anyone else bled and kept their little one? I am petrified.

So I've been for a scan... baby is 8 mm long and there is no heartbeat. However they've booked me in for a scan next week just to be sure. Fingers crossed it was just a bit too early to see a heartbeat. x

With my 3rd pregnancy I gushed blood one day at about 11 weeks, it went through my clothing etc.. I went to the ER and baby was just fine, they said I broke a blood vessel in my cervix and to just rest for a few weeks. I hope everything is ok :)

I saw my GP in the Emergency room. They didn't seem at all worried about my health because there's no pain.

Thank you ladies. I got booked in for the scan by seeing my GP. They have told me to relax and take it easy and keep positive. I'm trying, but it's not easy.

I would call your doctor today just in case.  I had bleeding my first pregnancy that was quite heavy for about 5 days.  My doctor had me take it easy by putting my feet up and drinking lots of water. I was told no heavy lifting or even vaccuming.  I went in also and my baby was okay.  My daughter is now 5. I guess 50% of women bleed.  Please call though. :)
