Your baby, your choice. With that being said, it isn't your mils child. It's is you and your husbands choice.

Your baby your choice. We've decided not to tell anyone until our little girl is here because we don't want their opinions or putting off it, we love it and that's what matters :) I think the name you've chosen is cute, if you and your husband want to call her that then you should x

I think it's a cute name! I agree with everyone else.  Your baby, your decision. We're naming our daughter Scarlett Rae, but decided not to tell anyone until the birth. We don't want their opinions to impact our opinion on the name.

I think it's cute. But everyone has there own opinions. I'm in the same position.  Hubby and I both agreed on a name for our boy and his whole family hates it :( in the end its your baby your decision! !!

We have chosen either Clíodhna Lucy or Ríonach Lucy (pronounced same as Raina) if ours is a girl, my family don't seem to keen on the latter but I don't care he/she isn't their baby, it will be ours to name so it's tough luck on them lol

I think is an adorable name that will age/grow with her.
With my first we kept the names from everyone (we didn't find out sex), so until he was born and his name was on the paperwork, hubby and I were the only ones who knew the name. Which I'm glad, because after some people's reactions to his name "Oakley" I can guarantee a few people would have tried to put us off. Although that wouldn't have happened, I would have bit their heads off and possibly damaged a few relationships if we had told them the names before birth and had they said anything negative. So we're doing the same this time, not telling anyone and not finding out the gender.

Go see the dentist, not the doctor.

I think it's a very pretty name for a girl. I agree with the other posters - your baby, your choice. I remember my MILs first reaction (she hated it) when she heard our choice for our first daughter and I was so annoyed by it. But we stuck to our guns and she's never said a bad thing about it since! I know its hard when family have such strong opinions but hopefully since they're your family you can just tell them to get used to it and stop being unkind. Best of luck :)
