That your first child takes the longest to come and the time gets shorter and shorter with each child. That being said here is a good story. I went into labor with my son on October 25, 2012. I was admitted into the hospital at 4a.m. got an epidural at 6:30a.m. and he was born at 8:41a.m. being 6lbs, 11oz., an 19.5in. long. 4.5 hours of labor for my FIRST one. Today March 11, 2015. I went into labor with my daughter at 8:30a.m. got admitted to the hospital at 9:30a.m. had my baby girl at 10:09a.m. being 6lbs, 11oz., an 19in long. 1.5 hours of labor for my SECOND one. My babies don't play! When they wanna come they wanna come!!! Lol

That's not always true my mother had my older sister within20 minutes of going into labor had me in 45 minutes nd had my younger sister in 4 hrs.

Usually when this is said it's not about labor. Most first time mom's go past their due dates so the baby cooks a little longer

With my first I was in labour for 6hrs, my second was 15hrs. Had a really tough time second time round :/

With my first I was in labor for 4 hours. My 2nd 35 mins my 3rd 4 hours and now I am 30 weeks pregnant with my 4th.

My first child I was in labour for 6 and a half hours and my second labour was only 1 hour 20 mins so im hoping this one will be even quicker :)

Did I mention I COULDN'T get an epidural with my daughter cause she came that fast!!!
