C Section hospital bag

Hi ladies!

This may be early to start thinking about it but...

I'm scheduled for a c section on February 24th.  I was wondering if you all had any advice for items to put in my hospital bag that may be different out in addition to a "normal" bag.

This is my second child.  The first was born at 25 weeks via emergency c section and, truthfully, I don't remember much about the actual procedure or days after.  I was more concerned with my daughter's life at the time.

I'm currently 28 weeks (yay!  Made it to the 3rd trimester) and I'd like to start preparing.

Any tips would be appreciated!

It's really not so bad, I was scared and nervous when I had to have an emergency c section but now that I'm healing a little more I realize it wasn't so traumatizing. And you bleed a lot less and not for so long so that's a plus! :) Good luck

Really high waisted underwear to go home in, or u could always wear one of those gauzy ones the hospital provides

I just had a c section on Thursday. It's really not much different from a vaginal birth you're just laid up for longer and in more pain. The hospital will make sure you have everything you'll need and make you as comfortable as can be. I will suggest taking a comfy pillow from home though because it's comforting and helps prop you up better to care for baby than a hospital pillow.
