lojane,  you posted a couple days ago that you weren't sure you were going to keep the baby - it was unclear if you are considering abortion or adoption.

I think you need to spend time sorting out those really important questions,  and let the baby shower considerations go.  It's not as important.

A shower is a great thing. It's a nice time to be with friends and family members and have a little fun. You can play goofy pregnancy games and all kinds snacks and goodies. I've had showers for both my girls and am looking forward to another with this one, and I'm. Only 5 wks 4 days, my mom on law and sis in law are already starting to plan

I had my shower few days before my due date lol. I had to reschedule it but around 7-8 months is fine. It's nice to have a shower. Usually parents do it.

Well, typically someone would do this for you.  A family member or close friend.  It's fine to have your own if you like though.

When to have it really isn't important.  Some like to have it a few weeks before the baby is born, and others afterward.  My shower was when my son was 7 weeks old, and was for everyone to meet him (and we got some great gifts too..lol).  Up to you!  Whatever you decide, enjoy and congrats on your pregnancy.
