I'm laying in bed on my phone and all of a sudden my heart starts to race like I just ran and my breathing starts to speed up like I ran to I start to get sweaty palms and feet I'm not stressing or anything just relaxing in bed and i hadn't gotten up for at least 30mins or more my left side of the chest starts to hurt a lil bit under the boob.. Why does this happen? Is it bad or normal ftm 17 29 weeks pregnant

I meant that most women will develop a heart murmur when pregnant, not that all heart murmurs are caused by pregnancy

Yeah I agree with the above. I've had a heart murmur my whole life

I've always had a heart murmur. No it doesn't come from pregnancy. It's something you can be born with. Just an extra heart beat...

My sister is a labor and delivery nurse, she says that most women get heart murmus during pregnancy...  Because of the extra blood in your system.  It resolves after birth.

Heart racing could be hormones, anxiety, medication, caffeine.  I would ask your doc.  It's probably nothing but it will ease your mind to know.

I have a heart mur mur (nothing too serious) but I noticed at the beginning of my pregnancy my heart would start beating fast when my baby was about to movr. That's how I knew she was about yo move by my heart beat speeding up. Weird but true. Hope everything is okay with you though.
