When to tell the family??

Hi ladies

How did you tell your family? Any quirky ideas? And how many weeks were you when you announced your pregnancy?

I'm only 3w 4d so a little worried about telling people too early x

I found out I was pregnant at 5wks. One friend was with me so she was one less person to tell. Since finding out at 5wks & now I have only told about 20 people. I'm do next week, that is when everyone else will find out. It just depends on You. Good luck

I told my mom the day after I found out- about 5 1/2 wks. I wanted to wait but my mom had just finalized her divorce with her ex husband that day and I could tell she was on the verge of tears all evening. So I couldn't help it, as I was leaving I asked if she wanted some good news and let her know. She was thrilled and told me I made her day :) I know it's scary telling people early because of the risk, but if nobody knows and you have a miscarriage, there's no one to grieve with you and that sounds so painful to me.

I ended up in the hospital for pain...found out i had a cyst on on of my ovaries. And i was out of town for work related meetings.
I texted my father and told him what happened,  while i was at it i told him i was pregnant too.
I have had some health problems these past 4 to 5 years.
So he was more worried about my health and how pregnancy would have an effect on it.
I have an 11 yr old. I didn't think i would have anymore babies. Seeing that my husband was told he wouldn't be able to have any due to low sperm count, but hey, I'm 18wks pregnant and we are expecting a baby girl and due in February.  
We decided to keep it, since i have wanted another child, and since he might not get a chance to have one.
I was 6wks and 5 days when i found out i was pregnant.  
Other then that happening. I don't know how i would have told him. I'm 29 btw, but i just hate dissapointing my father. Him and my daughter is basically the only blood family i have.

I waited 12 weeks. I know its so exciting but clear the first trimester so there's a better chance of no complications. Congratulations!

I'm not a lady but I'll tell you how my gf and I did it. We were about 8wks and not showing yet. We got portraits done and made a calendar to give to our parents for mothers day. So on November which is when our girl is born, we had a picture of us but gave hints that were expecting. It was a surprise but both parents are excited.
