Will black Friday have big ticketed items on sale?

I just had my shower and received a lot of gifts and zip $900 in gift cards. I was trying to figure out if I should purchase the crib now or wait until black friday. I am due 12/27 and don't want to wait until the last minute to purchase the crib.

I'm due 12/26 and having a late baby shower thrown by my sister on 12/12 and I'm not finishing up my shopping until after then. It won't hurt to save your gift cards for black friday.

I say wait until black Friday but unless you really know where to look (like non major chain stores) black Friday isn't as good as it used to be Neither are the deals. But I check out the major chain store ads on blackfriday.com and I have to keep an eye out and ask at smaller stores.

Stores like babies r us typically have big ticket items on sale for black Friday. A couple of years ago, I got my daughters jogging stroller for 60 bucks and it was regularly 120. Check the ads ahead of time. Also, you can get cribs for relatively cheap compared to normal prices if you look at clearenced items

Thanks ladies, maybe I should have waited on the stroller since I just purchased it online this past weekend. I will just wait until black Friday to order his crib then.

I got 50 dollars off his stroller do if I can get it cheaper than what in spent, I will return and repurchase for the better deal.
