Wives tale about areolas?

I was just reading something about if your areolas get really dark it's a boy, if there light dark or no change its a girl. Is this true with anyone? With both my boys they got dark, that was the first sign I had with my youngest. I'm 12 weeks now and they haven't changed at all. I find out in a week or 2 what I'm having.

I'm hoping it is a girl. This whole pregnancy is completely different then both my boys. They weren't completely the same but most of is was the same. Like I never got sick until after 20 weeks, I wasn't moody, didn't have pimples, had the ambition to do things, ate meat all the time, areolas were different.. now there the same, I'm sick constantly except maybe one day out of the week I'm 12 weeks and it started at 5weeks, all I do is sleep, I can't stand meat..
