Then I'd plain and simple not allow her to see the baby. Your baby is not a novelty or something that can be passed around.

Thats terrible that they said that. If that were me, Id not allow that to happen.  Mom needs to be with baby. For them to suggest anything different shows their lack of support to you as a mother.  Im sorry :(

I wouldn't let that happen my baby my responsibility seems like she don't like you if you can't spend the night what if she does something to the baby because she doesn't like you.. There's crazy ppl out there now an days can't trust no body with your precious baby

^agrees. Ur baby needs you especially being a newborn. Ur going to be breastfeeding, so that means baby needs you to eat every 2-3 hours all day/night. You could pump bottles but i dont suggest starting that too early as it can cause nipple confusion.

Why wouldn't you be allowed to stay over ? If you're breastfeeding you don't have to let your baby stay the night away from you. F that. I breastfeed and would never let someone take my son for the night.. he's 8 months old .. I can't pump either so.. idk if you will when baby is born.. that would be a different story but I feel like a baby needs his mommy especially in his\her first few months of their life ! I'd not allow it.. and if she doesn't want you to spend the night also then she shouldn't be gifted with the presence of your baby for the night ! No way Jose.
