I don't have it but my mom did when she was pregnant with me and I'm healthy. And my sister in law has it and she's 24 weeks right now, I don't think she's had any issues with it. The drs just have it in her file to watch out for it.
OK I just found out that I have it and when I go back to the Dr I have to have more test done. And its crazy BC when I was younger I had the shots for it.
I have had oil since I was 16 I am 22 now and just got my pelvic exam and for the doctor to run test to see if I still have it and she has said that I don't, the reason for this is when young girls have it at an early age they tend to grow out of it... on the other had my mom had it and she had me I am perfectly healthy and everything
I have it. From what I understand hpv itself is not the issue. The issue is the complications it can create later on in life: cervical cancer, genital warts, ect. In most cases It cures itself with zero complications. And it is not transmitted to your child a huge portion of the adult population in America has it.
The shots you get only protect you from 3 different strands. There's many other strands. Good luck with everything
I've never had anything however my sister in law has had it for years and has 4 healthy children. Dont worry they will monitor and watch you. If there is anything wrong they will tell you. They are aware you have so will take any precautions needed whatever they may be. Dont stress there are plenty of women who have it and have healthy babies.
My sister has it and she has 3 very healthy and hyper boys lol
Remember, it's only a virus and eventually your body will fight it off. I had HPV years ago but haven't had any signs or abnormal paps or tests in over 4 years. A healthy diet to help boost the immune system will help you fight it off.
Thanks ladies you are helping me keep calm till my next Dr appointment
