How many baby outfits should I put in my hospital bag? :o

i live in texas so im putting two outfitsin my bag one for hot weatheror cold its so bipolarout here when it comes to weather  an a few onesies an socks an hand mitts an a few beeines....

I just packed 3 because i know im having a c sec and they usually make u stay 3 days. I did 2 long sleeve onesies with pants one short sleeve with pants and a hat and a jacket do him. And warm pjs.

Only 1 to go home in. I was six days in hospital after having tge baby and they dress the baby while you are there.

I'm packing a couple sleep suits and vests of both tiny baby and new born and then one of each size for a coming home outfit

They don't always dress baby my first son they didn't. Not even diapers i had to bring it all.

With my first i packed two outfits newborn size she was only 6 lbs 1oz so daddy ran out to store to get preemie Onesies

I bring several (2-3) onesies for in hospital (anything more elaborate you just have to take off when they check baby's vitals, and I keep them warm by swaddling them in a blanket) and one sleeper for the trip home. Fancy outfits don't come along because they're just a pain in newborns anyway. This is based on a vaginal birth with two nights in hospital.
