What do belly bands do? Are they like a girdle for pregnant women??

Ok thanks i was thinking of buying one but didnt understand what they do lol. I am still wearing my regular clothes size at 5months so its probably something i will look into when my belly starts getting bigger.

Belly bands are different from pregnancy support belts. The bands help you wear your non-maternity pants longer. You keep gour pants unbuttoned & the band helps keep your pants up & makes a little pouch for your bump. The support belts wrap around your waste & are adjustable. You can wear it under your clothes. Mine has the support i need for my lower back & feels like it keeps my bump from feeling like its just hanging there, like it helps to hold up some of the weight.

I use mine to hold my belly up when I know I'm going to be walking around. Takes some of the pressure off, I really like it.

Belly bands are used over the top of your regular pants. They slide over & hold your pants so you dont have to buy maternity pants right away.
