Im 31 weeks 1 day and a ftm ..I saw my dr a few days ago and he says my son is a little on the big side ..Dr said he weights 4lbs already. ..is it normal for my son to already be at that weight?

I wouldn't completely go off of weight it can be off by a couple of pounds my doctor kept saying my baby was so big and right before I had him my doctor said he was over 9 pounds he came out weighing 7 pounds 14 ounces there is no definite way to get weight while still pregnant so I wouldn't stress on it

At my 34 week check up my son weighed 6 lbs so your babies seem tiny compared to mine. I'm currently 38+1 weeks and my son is almost 8lbs so yes it is very normal for babies to be on the bigger side of the scale. And compared to me and my fiancé he is huge we both weighed a little over 6lbs at birth and we are small people.

At my 25 week scan my baby boy was 4 lbs so I'm sure he going to be a big boy

I'm 31+4 and my Baby is 4lbs too so I guess some babies grow faster than others
