I had a c section with my first child and it really isn't that bad at all.  The only downside for me was that I wanted a natural birth with no drugs which isn't possible via c section.  Just make sure they do the epidermal for it right.

I think the success rate is great, i was told its about56%. Better than opting for a cesarean instantly. I was booked in for an ecv but had other complications ontop of bub being breech, so they wouldn't attemp it with me as it was too dangerous. They will not risk bub if everything is not ok. I ended uo having a cesarean 11wks ago. Whatever happens,  happens. Just see how you go. Best of luck, and i hope that bub turns prior to the evc for you.

My first was breech. I didn't try the external version.  I was too scared to try. My friend tried and it didn't work.  She said it hurt a lot.  The success rate isn't very high. It is not bad to need a c-section. And the recovery is not as bad as people think.  Good luck!
