confused
Ok so I'm 34 1/2 weeks I went to er last night for contractions nd they ended up doing a pelvic exam and they said they could fit a finger tip in but my cervix is still thick so I'm confused on what that mean.
You could be dehydrated.. Happened to me.. I went to the er a couple days ago with painful contractions but I was still not dilated and thick cervix.. They hooked me up to IVs n contractions stopped... Sent me home and I've been drinking water non stop and I haven't had a contraction since! I'm 35 weeks... So drink your water...
Hang in there. I'm 37 weeks and I went to the hospital this morning thinking I was in labor. My normal dr has me at 2 cm dilated and 60% effaced the last time she checked. She's also a tiny little lady. The on call Dr today was your avg sized man, so he got me at 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. Between that, my water not having broke yet, and my contractions not being consistent enough, they sent me home.
I have a weekly checkup tomorrow and they'll be doing an ultrasound also bc last week my fluids were looking low. It probably sounds really bad but I'm kind of hoping they induce me I'm so over this. Being induced *****, I know. But I'd willingly put myself through it right now.
