breast and express for bottle

So I'm thinking I'm going to have a good go at breast feeding, but I'd also like to express to put into bottles so my partner can do some feeds, but is that recommended or will that confuse the baby? Nipple/bottle teat? Anyone had any experience? Would be appreciative for any comments.x

I hope to do the same, concerned about when to express to have enough milk to feed & to express for later, so if any tips on this I'd be very interested too.

I've had no problem doing both. I make sure baby is an excellent breastfeeder for about 2 weeks before I introduce the bottle with expressed breast milk. Both my babies did fine with this approach. I also use the Playtex bottle system. It's inexpensive and my babies have done well with it. Good luck! Breastfeeding is a joy!

I did both. I had no problems and my oldest was given formula when he was born, but had no problems latching. I breastfed for the first two weeks and then I introduced expressed milk. I used the Playtex air vent/flow bottles then I don't know what I will be using this time.
