I would be paying more than half my wage to childcare I think im going to have to leave work but honestly starting to worry and my husband brings home a good wage so I don't know how some people manage at all

I know how you feel. It's so expensive. I looked into the childcare at my work and they were going to charge me 1200 a month for 1 baby! I'm like WHHHHAAATTT! Luckily I talked to My best friend that has a daycare out of her home and she will take him for 400. I got lucky. But its definitely hard!

One thing to consider and I know it is difficult to drop to one income. You might want to compare what you would bring in income wise and what you would pay for childcare per month. That may be a big deciding factor. atleast it is becoming that way for me

im hoping between my mum and my boyfriends mum they can help so I can work part time. however they both work part time and im guessing my work won't be able to be too flexible so I may also have to look at private child care. some of my friends have used child minders instead of nursery's as they are usually half the price. dont stress though, it will all be fine. my sister is a single mum so had to give up work and she has managed fine. once the baby is born maybe go to mother and baby groups and see what other mums are going todo. u may find one is a child minder or knows a good one.
