Prune juice at Room temperature.
1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Cantaloupes are really good for constipation too!
Fiber bars!! Water, and lots of exercise! This all helped me alot! And raw coconut oil thinly spread on a peanut butter sandwich helped amazingly but if you don't like coconut (i dont) its kind of hard to make yourself dig it. But one a day saved my life
I was hoping someone was going to post about this. I am 21 weeks and I'm badly constipated as well. I have been drinking a lot of water. Eating fruit and veg. I started eating prunes last night. It's painful when I do want to go. I am worried that all the pushing is going to harm the baby :( I have heard a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar will help, anyone know of this is ok?
Milk of Magnesium works great!!! Take that and drink some apple juice and I guarantee you'll go. I just had the same problem and I'm 38 weeks. Its a horrible and very uncomfortable feeling. You'll feel so much better afterwards.
Prunes!! They work. Sorry for the TMI but between last night and now and all the prunes I feel like a new person lol
My midwife suggested a daily dose of magnesium pills to compliment my prenatal vitamins, and take them with lots of water. I was never constipated again.
Eat a pickle then drink milk right after it will work trust me
Over the counter stool softners and a bunch of water. The stool softners are safe for the baby.
