So my best friend is dating my boyfriend's brother. That's how my boyfriend and I met. Well she's a week and a half behind us. We found out i was pregnant, and told them first after I told my mom. We said not to tell hos parents until his bday party that was 2 more weeks out. Then about a week later they found out they were pregnant. I was so happy for them! I wasn't going to be pregnant by myself. Well they (she) told her parents and then his parents that they were expecting. She stole our thunder from under us! When we finally told his parents are the bday party, they already knew!!  Without telling them. They didn't even say congrats. They sat their eating the cake. It hurt my feelings. So now they're super excited for them and not us. Were so out casted by the family it hurts. The mother always asks how I am and when the next ultrasound is. But she never says how excited she is like she does with them.

Yep, its the sibling jealousy coming out. I wasnt jealous that they told first I was upset cause I told them not to tell his parents. They knew but she still did it. I get everything that she wanted I guess. I went to college for the same thing she wanted. I got the hotter brother, Im pregnant first, but she decided to tell everyone first so she wasn't last. But in the end she's last. Not trying to be mean but she doesn't know what she wants. She's been with the guy for two years no job, doesn't do anything to help by not looking. Blames her anxiety way to often.

I feel your pain.. I found out in January that I was pregnant, told my whole family that day.. I'm due on September 7th.. THEN in may, my older sister "found out" she was pregnant.. And due on AUGUST 7th.. Which happens to be the birthday of our deceased brother.
The sad part is, this is the 2nd time she's stolen one of the siblings thunder.. She did it with her two year old daughter too. Our brother found out him and his girlfriend were expecting their first born son, and all of a sudden my sister announced that she was pregnant with her 4th child, and due 2 months before my brothers baby.. Only difference is this time she waited until 3 months before her due date to tell us she was expecting, and was conveniently due one month to the day before my son is due.. And it's the first born child that she stole the thunder for, yet again.. Thanks sis..

10 weeks, and she's 9 weeks. Im gonna try to find out what baby is two weeks after my bday. Thats in September

If we have a boy its going to be the first boy of the family! They think their having a girl. I might be selfish, but ill know the sex of the baby, ill have my baby shower first. Ill have my baby first. I cryed when they told his family before us. I had to wait three weeks before I could tell them.

What a best friend you have there! !! I know she's your bff and everything but you might consider what you tell her next time, especially about your baby cuz she might try and do the same as you if you know what I mean. .. best of luck with that friend

I hope not. This is like the 6 grandkid. Ill know the sex first so I feel really good about that. I just wish they were more excited for us. But my mother couldnt be happier!! So we only go off of my mother and her feelings.

That's kinda how i felt about mine BC my older brother & his wife got pregnant first with the first grandbaby. So it kinda sucked. But the further along i get the more excited every one is getting. So even though the announcement wasn't great that doesn't mean they will be like that the entire pregnancy:) don't worry!

Thank you, I know she's supposed to be my best friend and I'm really excited for her. But she never wanted a child. I've waitt for three years to get pregnant. Shes scared to look at her own vagina, go to the dr, she has social anxiety, and every other anxiety you can think of. I've done everything I can to be healthy, while she smokes made weed and everything she not supposed to be eating and drinking. She gets upset when I gave her a baby book, cause the book gives her anxiety. She's the biggest hypocrite
