When do you start planning for a baby shower my fiancee family think i should what a week before my due date which is January 21 but my family said we should. Have the baby shower a month before my due date...which option is better or when do you plan the baby shower?
I'm also due Jan 21! I'm having my shower the week before thanksgiving to get it out of the way before the holidays I didn't want to wait until January incase I go early.

I'm due October 21st and I had my baby shower August 23rd. We started planning about 2 to 3 months ahead of time. So then you have time to figure out where you'll have it decorations how many people to invite, make invitations and send them out ahead of time, register somewhere ect ect. I was sooo tired after my shower if I was any bigger I dont know if I wouldve enjoyed it as much. Plus its given me all this time to set up and wash everything I need too.
I know alot of women who have them around 7-8 months and that's what I think is best. Just so you have time to get everything settled in.
A month before your due date...but ypu can always just tell everyone you want baby stuff for xmas...and just skip the whole baby shower...that's what I'm going to do. I'm due February.
I'm due Nov 28th and my sisters planned mine for Sept 28th. I wanted it earlier since where I live it snows in October and I wanted it to still be nice out plus it just works good for everyone that day. :). I would do it Atleast a month before. . You never know when your baby will make an appearance.
Im due January 1st and my baby shower is in November
A month before so you have time to wash clothes bedding and stuff and if you dont get stuff you wanted or needed you have time to still get those items
I am due Nov 23rd and my fiance's stepmom has my baby shower planned for Nov 1st
U can plan NOW, but u SHOULD have it at least 6 weeks before ur due date.. because u can go into labor early.. congratulations
i think you should do a month before delivery cause you can always go a lil earlier
