I agree with all stated above, but be aware that chomping on ice is really bad for your teeth. I've had chronic anemia, and had a compulsion to chomp ice, chronically, and have ruined several of my teeth:(. Eating crushed ice should be harmless though.
There is nothing wrong with eating fresh, clean ice, but do get a nice iron supplement and take it also.

Also, get your iron levels checked. Ice craving is a symptom of anemia.
The ice that builds up in freezers is generally not very clean & can collect bacteria & stuff from the containers that go in the freezer & the hands of people reaching in to get stuff. I'd say you're better off buying a bag of ice & keeping it in the freezer to chomp on. If this is a strong craving for you, I'd suggest talking to your doctor about it-it may be pregnancy caused Pica (a disorder where you crave non-food items)
I've never heard of any possible harm to baby's from eating freezer made ice
