Is there anyone who did both breast feeding and formula? If so, please share experience

My sister in law did this and she had problems with her milk supply. She breastfed for less than 2 months

I did also.  I would feed him from the breast and then from a bottle when the breasts were empty.  He took both, and didn't apparently suffer from any confusion.  I breastfed for 18 months.

I did both.  I was working and didn't pump enough at work. I still breastfed til 6 months but it was supplementary. I didn't introduce formula until she was a month old.

I did. I went back to work after a month and didnt have time to.go.home and breastfeed during lunch so I would pump each morning and give her that, during the day my husband would feed her formula, I never produced alot of milk,.I gave what I could for about 4 months or so. My baby did get constipated sometimes but after I stopped breastfeeding we changed her formula and she was fine. I do wish I could have breastfed longer, I just couldnt produce enough, it was always 3oz or less :/ but I did what I could you know. I see no problem with doing both, not every woman is the same, I know some who breastfeed til the baby is one, good for them, wasnt my luck though. I will try to breastfeed as much as I can this time around, my boobs havent grown at all so we shall see how that goes.
