So I really want to start some family  traditions with our children especially  because  our last little bun is baking (Oct 14th)! Any idea's ?? Looking to do like 3-4 days a week just really involving  the kids and little food idea's too! I thought of like speghetti  friday so far & craft day Saturday's lol

I enjoyed reading all your traditions! Very fun and soon we will have another bundle to do fun stuff with! We do Christmas eve jammie gift too from the elf! It's the one and only present they get to open early. We also do pizza on clean up day. We dedicate the day to deep clean the house and then order pizza and relax as our reward! Usually Friday nights so we can enjoy the weekend. Hubby and i both work full-time so need a cleaning evening

I was the same way after my first was born. I wanted to start family traditions so bad. I checked out a book at the library that was all about family traditions. I ended up having a tradition each month. July is Monday night bbq dinner outside. Which means it may or may not end in a fun food fight. Nov. We go around the table each dinner and say what we are thankful for that day.

We have sunday afternoon of hanging out. Baking and cooking dinner together and either play games, go bike riding or watch a late afternoon movie.  Since summer is coming do ice cream day. Other family traditions we've done and continued is always 2  weeks outta the summer we go camping twice  (week at a time )  just us as a family. You can do craft Tuesday's with your kids. Find a new craft each week.  Either.  Picture frame / snow globe /wind chimes / there's LOTS  or say every Saturday afternoon for 2 hrs go swimming then a picnic.   So many ideas and so much you can do for traditions.  Every Christmas eve its just me my boyfriend and just our kids.  We go skating or tobogganing depending on whether go home and have hot chocolate, have appys for dinner a Christmas movie and bunch of snacks & games.   My kids always get a Christmas box from (elf) with movie pj's slippers juice box/movie theater size snack and teddy. Its really nice because we spend it just us as a family

On Tuesdays we would rent a movie and pick up a pizza. One kid got to pick movie and other kid got to pick the pizza.

When I have my son my biggest 'tradition' will be baseball and basketball game openers.

Go on to Pinterest and you will find millions of ideas! We do a week each season of rak's (random acts of kindness) which the kids love. Great idea, good luck!
