confused. . help how far along

I did a home pregancy test Thursday,April 23th night at 9pm.. and  it was positive. .I went to the doctor  Saturday morning April 25.. took a urine test, which came out positive. . So of course I wanted to know how far a long. . So the doctor took my blood.. and my Hcg level was 1479, which he told me.im about 4-6 weeks.. I was like thats a big range.. but according to this app as of today I'm 4 weeks.. for some reason I think I'm far along

My last day of my period was April 3rd

So my doctor told me i was 6 weeks based on my first day of my last period which was 20-3-15 and typing that into the app tells me the exact same thing. Try typing into the app your first day cause you could be about 5 or 6 weeks. :)
Congratulations by the way
