forgot how to cook

I know this may be kinda weird but lately I've notice that whatever I cook doesn't come out right anymore. Is like I forgot how to cook ! I can't even make rice right anymore. My husband says the food taste good but to me is just not right. My taste buds are all messed up I guess. Anyone else going through the same ?

Ugh so glad I am not alone. The other day I wanted to make myself a desert so I can take it to work (polish rice and apples) so anyway I had to cook the rice and I night the kind in the small baggie 2 ser. Each and I took 4 of those put a big pot of water on and started cooking the rice I guess I lost track of time and next thing you know the pot is burned rice and baggie all melted together. Tossed everything. Later that same day I wanted to make dinner (pork chops) so I was heating up the oil on a pan and say down next thing you know my kitchen is almost on fire. After an gr or so we heated up another pan and this time the pork chops almost burned but didnt cook. I give up. I have lost my touch in the kitchen.

Ok I thought I was going crazy ! I so wanted this meal my friend made yesterday and I tried making it today and just came out so salty and nasty to me. Same as other nights is like I lost my culinary touch lol I can't season for crap now

I've forgotten how also. For me, I'll crave something & while cooking it, i don't want it anymore. Since i don't want it, i feel like i lose interest in making it & it didn't taste as good as i know it could. Our else i crave one thing & if i don't make it, the dinner i do end up cooking taste ugly to me.

I do with evety pregnancy....our senses are totally different during pregnancy so it makes it harder to taste, smell, etc the same way we use to for cooking. I made my babies eggs yesterday and my 4 year old says "mommy its very salty!" Lol my 1 year old just threw his on the floor. Ive nvr had an issue with this before becoming pregnant lol.
