Is it still technically called sushi if it's fried? I thought sushi was a name for raw fish? I'm confused.
Sushi is totally fine as long as it's fully cooked and you don't over-do it quantity wise. I would google high mercury fish and just avoid those. I just had sushi last night and ate it all through my first pregnancy. :)
Tuna is safe & contains little mercury. It's the larger fish that you should try to avoid like shark, mackerel, and swordfish. When in doubt log onto WebMD or call your doctor. Of couse you don't want to eat ANY raw fish.
Tuna is Loaded with Mercury. Even non expecting people should eat it very infrequently.
I do and have with all 3 of my pregnancies had baked and deep fried sushi. You just want to stay within the limits of amouny and type of fish. Try only to do tuna, salmon, crap and shrimp. Others have high mercury levels
