I don't have a choice, my last two labours I've lost too much blood and it hasn't wanted to come away on its own with my first I had people pressing on my tummy and an injection to help mg stomach contract to help it out. With my second I had to have it manually removed in theatre, after the injection etc didn't work. So this time round the docs are concerned about it and are planning to give me the injection early.
Do your research and if it's something you like the sound of give it a try.
Definitely waiting at least until it stops pulsing, longer than that as long as there are no emergency issues. There is absolutely no reason not to and there are so many benefits!
I thought abt waiting for the cord to stop pulsing but i want to bank the cord blood so im just delaying the cord cutting bc ovr all it is better for the baby in the long run. They need their blood.
