How much does your newborn eat?  Mine eats 3 oz every 4 hours

I think it depends on how big your baby was at birth. My son was 9lbs 12 oz and he ate that much. He's now 16 months and has a very big appetite but he's also  a big boy. I think he just takes after his dad.

Formula babies are going to eat more in one sitting and wait longer betweenn feeds. It is ok. Check how many wet and poo diapers if you are concerned and talk to the doctor

She was only eating 1 oz every 2 hours but she wanted more n started sleeping more

As long as the baby is eatting every 2 to 4 hrs, is a good thing.... How many wet diapers a day? How many poopy diapers a day, and can you describe the look and texture of the poop. Also you can call the pediatrician,  sometimes babies need special formula. My first born needed special formula.

Wow that's a lot. When my kids were newborns they ate about 1oz every 4 hours.
