A good man

This semi rant comes from a comment I read on something I posted...not all men are dogs! We were discussing sex drives and a comment was made how we better get it together and have sex with our men or he will go elsewhere....silly rabbit if a man is going to go elsewhere bc he isn't getting it as often as he likes, 1. He isn't a real man 2. He prob already been elsewhere 3. Sex doesn't keep a man around.......a good man is a treasure, like my husband. Never has been the cheating type, always faithful, I can trust him more than anyone else almost and if I couldn't I wouldn't have married him. He still gets sex but he also understands my drive is gone and is appreciative when effort is put in. For a person to automatically assume that a man would leave in my opinion means that's what they are used to. I look down on no one, everyone's pregnancy is different and they take it differently, but please don't make a pregnant woman feel worse by saying her hubby/bf/ or whomever will go elsewhere bc she isn't feeling up to it all the time. Yes as a wife I take one for the team, I don't want him to be left out but by no means are we where we used to be sexually and he understands.....long story short just be mindful of what your telling people, I'm not concerned with my looks, but many who commented were and i would have hated to be one of them and read that type of comment

I know what you mean!  I also feel lucky to have such a good husband.  Yes maybe we are more hormonal and its easier to lose your patience with your men but some of the husband/boyfriend bashing should stop because some of us aren't easy to live with all the time.

So true!!! I am in constant pain and/sick so I practically don't want it ever. And he works practucally day and night and we have 2 kids so when the opportunity comes around where I do feel up to it, we have that issue because he's too tired. But I know for a fact that he would never step out on me. We have our fair share of fights and issues but it's a great comfort to know that that is something that I will never have to worry about and neither should any women, ever. Find another man who has enough respect for you, himself, your relationship and the potential 'other woman' to not do that.

Couldn't agree more! My man is so sweet to me and understands. Hell he will even be in the mood and ask how I am feeling without even hinting at what he really wants. Then depending on my response will either initiate or will tell me what he did want but being I'm not feeling well or tired that he just wants to spend time with me instead. I guess we are the lucky few!

Couldn't agree more.. if he's only in the relationship for the sex what the hell are you doing breeding with him! I also have a great man.. made pretty sure of that before I married him and decided to have a baby
