Keep your mind in a positive place, if you can. C-sections are not exactly easy to recover from, but it was not extemely awful for me. I refused the pain medication and only took Aleve because I refused to be passed out while trying to bond with my new baby. The actual procedure in itself was mentally harder on me than recovery was, but once its over - it's over. Mind over matter.

Im 34weeks 4days myself and my midwive said the baby is breech aswell if my baby boy does not turn down by 38+ i will allow them to try turn him down i will defo allow them to do that first before i agree to a csection. It also seems that your doctors not giving you all the correct info. A lot of babies turn around right at the end of pregnancy 39 40 41 weeks just before you go into labour or during labour so dont rush anything untill you know the proper info. Speak to another doctor also

They can try to turn the baby at 37weeks from the outside and using meds i think youd have to ask about the proper procedure before hand but thats what they told me in my labour class i attending as was worried about this also. But they only do it after 37Weeks because sometimes your body can go into labour because of them doing this. Try to find out about this first if you are keen about a natural birth !
