hospital tour

Okay ladies, this is my second child (due in December) I am turning up onto week 30 and I wanted to know when a good time to register at the hospital and take a tour would be. My first we were at a birthing center and had to go to hospital due to body exhaustion.  I will be delivering at the same hospital but not sure if a tour is necessary or what. Since I was birthing in my home I didn't pack anything really so I was not prepared beside for baby. Did you do a tour? What week were you when you pre - registered?

I registered at 28 weeks with my first child and 34 weeks with my second. I will be registering around 28 weeks this time. Good luck.

Did you ask certain questions with it not being your first? I have read blogs about what to ask but I feel like I kinda know that from my first. It was just difficult for us since we weren't familiar with the labor ward at the hospital when we did go.

Sorry I can't answer your questions.  I just want you to know why we feel it's necessary to take the tour.

I'm a FTM and I'm going to do a tour. I've never been exposed to labor and delivery on any level. I think taking the tour will help the hubby and I to feel more prepared and to help us know what to expect.
