induced.!!

I'm 39weeks pregnant and my Dr. told me last week that I have tell this 22nd to try and start labor on my own, since I haven't gotten any contractions yet. If not he's guna have to induce me. So I wana know how it feels like.? or why is it so bad.? Because lots of people are telling me  not to get induced, and just giving me lots of other options to start the contractions.
Please help.! Thanks

I was induced at 37 weeks with my son and I second that the contractions were no joke...no time to catch my breath literally!!! I'm 34 weeks along with my daughter now and likely to go through the same thing. The bright side is I get to meet my Christmas baby much sooner..hopefully. You'll be okay. We're tough like that!

Inducing labor pains are no joke!!!! The contractions are 10 times as bad as normal contractions (my experience) .... other than that same as it will normally be. They use this big crochet needle  looking thing to break your bag. Drink a half spoon of castor oil and have sex, you'll be in labor tonight

I got induced with my first child. I was 41 weeks. Lol he didnot want to come out. I would walk every single day, nothing happened, i would do squats, nothing happened. My doc said now it was time to induce me. She hd something that looked like a rat tail comb and she bust my water bag and after that it was over lol. I started feeling all the contractions.

I got induced with my first at 36 weeks. It's honestly that bad. U really don't feel anything because once you start to get induced depending on if u choose to get the epidural or not u won't feel really much anything that whole time. Geesh that makes me think that's gonna happen to me again lol. I'll be 39 weeks on Friday and still haven't felt much of contractions. All I know is inducing wasn't bad at all for me. Everyone has different opinions. But like I said I didn't mind it at all. Wasn't a bad experience
