irrational fears

Hi my name is sarah i am 9 weeks pregnant and terrified that i might lose this baby .... in december 2013 i was told that my chances of having anymore children was very low after having to have an opp to remove several burst cysts from my ovaries and being told that my ovaries where still full with cysts they couldnt remove so finding out i was pregnant was a massive shock and now i feel so protective of this baby that its mentally exhausting me if i lose him or her it might never happen again. Is there anything i can do just to try and calm myself down with the worrying

If you are someone who prays, something that helped me get through pregnancy after several miscarriages was a very simple prayer I'd say daily. "Lord, thank you for letting me be this child's mother today." It helped with the stress and fear and helped me remember that I was already doing everything in my power to give my baby the right start, the rest wasn't up to me so there was no use worrying. Congrats on your surprise blessing!

Talk to your doctor ... I had the same thing and during my pregnancy the cysts didn't form while baby was cooking. Your doc will probably check you more often to make sure none have ruptured and that toxic fluid doesn't get into or near the baby's sack....no major lifting and take it easy and don't worry ... cysts can cause from stress so calm down drink some tea and talk to your doc! Best of luck

Just eat healthy take those prenatals get plenty of rest and take it easy. Most importantly be positive! A happy mom makes a happy healthy baby. I'm almost ten weeks so we are not far apart! Look at it this way, almost out of the first trimester!! Yay  Congrats on your blessing!!  Everything will be fine girl!

Congrats on your pregnancy and I understand your fears! I had a miscarriage in March of this year at two weeks. I am almost 8weeks and trying really hard to get rid of my doubts and fears. You are only human so you may not be able to get rid of them completely but just rest your body, take good care of yourself, and have hope and faith that everything will be alright I'm rooting for you!! =)
