My first two children had jaundice when they were born and had to stay in the hospital an extra day to get the uv light treatments. I'm assuming my third baby will have it too... has anyone else had multiple children with jaundice?

Thanks for the response tbree. I hate seeing them under those lights, its so sad! I had to do the at-home uv blanket with my second after i was discharged because her jaundice was pretty bad. I was worried that it just gets worse with every kid for some reason but if your 3rd didn't have it then there is hope :)

Yes my first 2 did as well but we didnt have to stay an extra day. We stayed the 2 days that you stay in the hospital for a vaginal delivery. My 3rd didnt have it. Now I am 36 weeks + 4 days with my 4th and am hoping this one doesnt get it either, but I hear it is common for babies to get it to some extent.
