I'm 38 weeks with 4 days ,
Nd This morning my doctor called me saying I have uti ,
What can happen if I don't take them pills ?
My husband don't want me to take them because he say it to much pill , kuz its one in the morning nd one in the night , he say to just wait till I have the baby because I'm almost gonna have the baby like in a week  ,

Trust your doctor UTIs are no joke pain wise and the affectes of leaving it untreated can be dangerous to you and your baby. Definitely take the medicine.

I would take it. Your doctor gave you the prescription so he knows what hes doing. I would be scared to not take it because of labor.

Yeah. Take the pills. Don't wait and let the infection become serious. If you let it get out of hand, it could turn into a kidney infection and potentially migrate into your blood stream, becoming a life-threatening situation for you and your baby.

If your on prescribed the pill then it's safe. He won't give you something that would harm you. Plus you want it taken care of now and not wait 2 weeks then have your baby and it get worse.
