I had both of my babies all natural and was 18 with my first I will say this because my midwife didnt help much she didn't teach me any birthing techniques or anything pretty much I had to figure it all out so I was in a lot of pain. I got pregnant again at 20 and didn't go to a midwife again my on taught me birthing treatments with my daughter and the pain was very bearable with her no screaming and only cried when she got here because I was happy that she arrived I was even able to cut up and laugh while having contractions with her. I'm not planning on having any pain meds or epidural with this baby either I figured I had both my other babies natural may as well go natural with this one as well.

No I don't think it's unbearable (no pun intended). Learn relaxation, breathing techniques and just learn to relax with the pain. The hardest part is probably the actual pushing out, but fortunately this is such a  short time period, you blink and baby's out. Best wishes.

It's not that bad. The trick is to not fight your body. When you tense up, it makes it far worse. Plus, like PP  said, fear releases adrenaline and that can prolong or even stop labor. There are many methods of breathing and relaxing to help you cope.  I prefer hypnobirthing.  Do some research and find what works for you.

Everyone is different and there are lots of pain relief options. Some women find it hard to handle others can cope with it well. The more you are scared the worst and longer it will be. When you are scared adrenaline is realised in a body and that slows down the labour. the pain is similar to bad cramps and I felt it like it was ripping me apart.
